Panorama by Etel

Girandola, an upholstered vis a vis bench, is part of the new Panorama furniture collection, designed by Cristina Celestino for Etel. The designer revisits the lesson of Brazilian modernism by dialoguing with the natural world: full and empty, light and heavy, light and dark alternate in a perpetual play between surface, material and colour. The classification of urban signs, transformed into a domestic iconography, takes place through the precise use of traditional Brazilian materials and techniques, such as bent walnut wood. In addition to Girandola, the collection consists of: Paisagem, a large and comfortable sofa; Atois, a trio of low tables; the Altopiano console table, the Paraiso armchair and the Jardim planter, all under the banner of a design synthesis that embraces two continents and many identities.
