Pipistrelli by Giovanni Raspini

The Pipistrelli Mirror, one of the furnishing objects presented by Giovanni Raspini on the occasion of the 2023 FuoriSalone, is made in keeping with a classic and elegant contemporary style that is sometimes provocative. As with the jewellery produced by the brand, we also find a clear sign of style in this mirror in the figurative influence and the naturalistic inspiration of the decoration. Made of iron and bronze, the work has a strong expressive individuality. The designer uses contemporary patinas and the thousand-year-old processing techniques beloved by brand, which bind it to the Tuscan artisanal tradition. The decorations are first moulded in wax and then cast in bronze, with the result of a sculptural and stylistic outcome that borders on virtuosity, giving the furniture uniqueness and character.
