In a space like the kitchen in which everything must be functional without being intrusive, Nautila, the new system designed by architect Franco Driusso for Arrital, represents a rational and sophisticated design à in a delicate balance of form, comfort and beauty.
Soul of the collection is the front with large doors made of aluminum, a material which with its technical properties ensures stability and lightness and allows not to burden the functioning of the opening mechanisms.
The innovative essence of Nautila is actually its very structure: Alu_Project is a real system based on a patented aluminum die, with no visible joining elements, that transforms the kitchen into a multitasking domestic architecture. Part of this system is Alu_Bridge, a bridge solution that acts as a separating lintel between one area and another and separates, while protecting them, the different operating areas from the one intended for cooking. Scenic and elegant, thanks to the alternation of solids and voids, the new bridge system is equipped with integrated LED lighting, can hold kitchen utensils and support the main service accessories, from storage shelves to electrical sockets, while an integrated smoked glass element protects the cooking area. The versatility of the Alu_Project system is embodied in numerous declinations: in addition to the coverings in Fenix NTM® solids and Sand, Lucidi and Iron metal-effect lacquers, there is a version with a solid wood planking in Smoked Oak, available in Brushed or with Milled processing in regular or asymmetrical strips.
The door is also available with the innovative 3D texture on printed aluminum sheet with rhomboidal decoration lacquered in various colours. The composition can be completed with open drawers or Gem showcases equipped with new interior accessories (bottle holder, glass holder, plate holder or cocktail set). The new Sipario storage system is also available with four retractable doors, which can be configured in different variants, among which the solution with integrated suction stands out.
Essentiality andsrefinement characterize Nautila, which won the iF Design Award 2023 in the Kitchen category and the Good Design Award 2022.
