Basket by Cappellini

Precursor of the classic ‘nest’ upholstered seats, the Basket collection was designed for Cappellini in 2005 by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec with the idea of creating a de-structured sofa, characterized by the contrast between the soft abundance of the padding, which ensures maximum comfort, and the thin visible metal structure, which gives the product great stability. In 2021, the family is enlarged with the introduction of two new modules, with even higher backrest, which perfectly adapt to the new way of conceiving contract environments: no longer wide open areas, but small and restricted spaces, which guarantee a high degree of privacy even in congested places.
