T-Chair OW58 by Carl Hansen & Son

Carl Hansen & Son adds the sculptural T-Chair OW58 dining chair, designed by Ole Wanscher in 1958, to its collection. Knud Erik Hansen CEO of the company explains: “Ole Wanscher viewed furniture design as architecture and the T-Chair represents the perfect example of his attention to refined and homogeneous forms.” Faithful to the original design, the refinement of the high-end carpentry stands out, especially in the detail of the T-shaped backrest joints – from which it takes its name – which merges with the rear legs, giving it the refined and elegant three-legged appearance. Despite the light aesthetics, the T-Chair, made of oak or walnut, is equipped with a large and comfortable seat, upholstered in leather or fabric.
