Soriana by Cassina

Still today one of the most coveted pieces of furniture for interior design projects, Soriana was designed in 1969 by Afra and Tobia Scarpa and awarded a Compasso d’Oro prize the following year. In collaboration with Tobia Scarpa, Cassina brings this true style icon back from its archives and reboots it with the utmost respect for authenticity, by employing environmentally friendly materials. While maintaining the same design concept and characteristic aesthetic allure, the construction and materials have been completely redeveloped by Cassina LAB, the collaboration between the Cassina Research and Development Centre and Poli.design at the Milan Polytechnic, for an eco-friendly version that has the aim of creating a lower environmental impact and a higher level of comfort.
