The Swedish manufacturer
Kasthall presents a new rug collection bearing the signature of world-renowned architect David Chipperfield. Tegel is inspired by the brick architecture of Kasthall’s headquarters and factory, located in the small town of Kinna. The designs feature a variety of formats and colors that reflect the aesthetic of the brick buildings. The three design variants – Corner, Side, and Centre – each display three color areas in separate (but related) spatial configurations affecting the perception of the surrounding. And in doing so suggesting multiple uses for organizing the space. Each design variant comes in seven different color schemes. The wool gives depth, warmth, and volume. The linen adds a discrete and vibrant note to the overall texture.
