Ripple by Platek

The poetic lighting fixture, Ripple, is the result of Nessun Dorma, a joint project orchestrated by Platek and JVL Studio. To create the lighting effect, Platek created a smooth, even surface on the transparent blown glass, defined on the outside of the diffuser, generating infinite concentric circles that amplify the diffusion of light compared to the source. Ripple showcases how an outdoor and, therefore, technical light can also have a strong decorative appeal, enhancing the setting in which it is placed. The body and structure are made of aluminium and the LED light source is shielded for maximum visual comfort. The series consists of a wall/ceiling, post and cordless version.
