Gubia, design Gordon Guillaumier for
Alf DaFrè, is a contemporary wooden sideboard that uniquely evokes the tradition of artisanal woodworking. The name Gubia is inspired by the classic gouge chisel, used in carpentry to carve round grooves into wood. What makes this cabinet so special is its tactile wood craftsmanship, creating an elegant, continuous look that masks the doors. The drawers and doors to the side open with a minimalist-look handle incorporated into the frame, available in Terra or Canapa Oak Fashion Wood. The base is made of Elettrocol-painted metal with a textured surface effect. Available in two sizes and two version, for the center room and placed against the wall.
