Shades by Sowden

Sowden presents Shades: a collection of silicone lamps including suspension, table and floor models, and a wireless family for both indoor and outdoor use. The concept of George Sowden featured in a preview during Milano Design Week 2021, has taken on a definitive form, enhanced by innovative technological solutions and engineered for production. In particular for the portable model, it has been created a custom Sowden Led lightbulb, dim with touch control in the upper part, which can be unscrewed and replaced if necessary. It also has a compartment for two batteries, which when flat can be easily changed with fully charged replacements, permitting immediate use without waiting for recharging. The portable model has already been selected by the MoMA Design Store of New York.
