BRAND Tooy
DESIGNER Corrado Dotti
TOOY was born as a spin-off of the Marche-based company Gibas which has been producing custom lighting since 1959. A strong link with the world of light and the know-how accumulated over the years have formed the link between tradition and the ability to accept current challenges. The initial idea was to create a youthful brand, but by developing the first projects and with the beginning of the collaboration with Corrado Dotti, the company decided to make other choices and developed a strategic plan to grow and establish itself on the market. high-end. For TOOY, designing a lamp means designing space: it is the light that defines and creates it, and therefore here are young, fresh, modular products capable of defining the environment in which to live. With its products, TOOY wants to go beyond the boundaries of décor, through a strong and well-defined identity that is expressed in both domestic and contract contexts. A brand that is never repetitive in its proposals, which always has something interesting and new to offer. The company is always looking for new trends and new designers with whom to work in open harmony and who push more and more in new directions. Corrado Dotti initially ferried the brand towards its delicate and luxurious style by placing it in a very clear context characterized by the taste of simplicity and unscathed luxury. Nabila, inspired by the lamps of the 50s, elegant and refined, represent the detail that enriches any environment. They are characterized by double-walled spherical luminous bodies in borosilicate glass, proposed in various compositions, and by a metal structure painted with epoxy powders with brushed brass details. Available in different versions to meet the needs of any environment; from the chandeliers in three different sizes, to the table, bedside table (smaller), floor or wall version, also available in different models to be installed individually or in customized compositions. Luxury and sobriety in a single element.
