Iris Ceramica Group’s eco-active Active Surfaces® ceramic exploits the photocatalytic properties of TiO2 which, combined with silver, transforms the ceramic slab into a material with antibacterial, antiviral, antipollution and anti odour and self-cleaning properties throughout its life cycle.
This innovative technology transforms the ceramic slab into a material with cutting-edge performance also in terms of antimicrobial characteristics, making it effective against SARS-CoV-2, responsible for Covid-19.
The application in domestic and collective spaces – wellness, hospitality, catering, healthcare – is tested and guaranteed for the durability and resistance of the product.
The slabs, produced in zero emission plants, are completely 100% recyclable and made with innovative properties that protect health and air quality. Thanks to the simplicity of maintenance, they are ideal for any architectural or interior design project that focuses on human well-being.
