A lowered, almost relaxed look. A delicately triangular shape. A slender, three-legged base. It is these details that make Bermuda seem to float lightly in space. The unconventional form of this lounge chair, designed by Studio Claesson Koivisto Rune for Baleri Italia, welcomes the body, creating a private corner to relax in. Its sinuous and curvilinear profile means it goes with different settings, offering an interesting contrast to more rigid and linear furnishing layouts. The extra-wide seat cushion and the low, hollowed-out look of the armrests create an unusually generous and relaxing surface to relax on. The soft triangular back with generously padded cushion is easily repositionable, making for even more seating positions. The chair also invites you to sit down informally, letting one or both of your legs slide to one side. Based on ergonomic studies, the back is designed to provide excellent support to the whole lumber region. Inside, the shell is covered with a large cushion, which can be fixed to the seat, in polyurethane foam with a lower density than the foam used on the shell, so giving the seat greater comfort. Both cushions can be upholstered in a wide range of fabrics, eco-leather and natural leather. The structure of the legs, with a simplified silhouette, is in lacquered metal or solid wood.
